Misk aka Philip Byrne to his mother is one half of the Dj / Producer duo, Arveene & Misk who first came to Gung-Ho!’s prominence on the Seminal Underground Hells Bells EP in 2009. Alongside productions and remixes for the likes of Kelis, Mr Oizo and more recently The Japanese Popstars’ Song For Lisa’ which is picking up props left right and centre.

Misk has stepped out on his own for this one and introducing himself with the ‘WHO IS MISK’ Track – After playing it you will soon find out!! A heavy jacked up piece of electronic assault. Heavy as the hills but still has time and space for the funk.

If a track on this label could typify what traditional Gung-Ho! Is then it really is ‘HELL YEAH’. No nonsense following heavily on the electronic stabs. This EP is exactly why we do it. FUCK !!!

All we ask as ever is play loud.

Welfare For The Digital return with new EP!!!

Well, here at Gung-Ho! towers we are buzzing that the Welfare for the Digital chaps have returned with a new ep. Following on from their first label output on the frontline troopers mini digital album, Ben & Martin have come back with a release that will be getting its own standalone EP release. What will Become Genghis053 is the following three 3 tracks and here on the label we could not be more proud. The Video for Starscream will be posted soon too ! !

Greg Churchill - Aside From U - Video and Release info

Out today is the 50th Release from Gung Ho! and its Greg Churchill leading the storm forward for the next 50! Aside from you has had support from all corners of the house world and today we've learnt strangely that Trance God Armand Van Buren is even feeling it even tho there's not a trance synth in site! I suppose good music transcends genres somethimes!!
